Experienced Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

If you ever stopped by at Palm Springs, you should definitely visit the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. I had a chance to visit the the Tramway last Monday and the view was awesome. Although Palm Springs is a desert, when you got to the top the mountain is extremely cold. You need to wear a winter jacket and gloves because it was -7C. I enjoyed the weather and the hiking trail on the mountain is great. While I was hiking, the park has a couple of Jeffrey Pine (Pinus jeffreyi). It has the present vanilla + butterscotch-like scent. You have to close your eyes and sniff the bark of the tree. The folks at the park told me those tree is the most common pine in the valley, and it can adapted to the desert environment. If you enjoy hiking and explore in the desert, this is the place you want to visit!
